pregnancy centers associated with the CPCWORLD. An average 33,000+ visit this

1. How do I become a member of the SOMEONE CARES REFERRAL NETWORK / CPCLINK.COM?
To register with the cpclink.com search engine is limited exclusively to boneifde Pregnancy Resource Centers, adoption agencies,
post abortion support groups, and emergency shelters. Additionally, we now list After Abortion Cares Mentors who assist with our online recovery course
and for Email Request Mentors who are qualified individuals willing to answer the email of the pregnant women but are not specifically working with a Pregnancy Resource Center.
All one must do to AFFILIATE WITH CPCWORLD is to agree to our terms and indicate Yes and Active on your membership.
A commonly asked question is why should I affiliate with CPCWORLD when I am already associated with another organization such as Care-Net, Heartbeat International or NIFLA?
The reason is simple: our visitors are not their visitors. To maximize your exposure, to serve more women, CPCWORLD's membership

2. How do I renew my CPCLINK.COM Membership?

3. How do I check my incoming referral requests for help?
A Referral Alert will be sent to your email the moment she asks for help. New for 2006! if you use a cell phone that accepts Text Messaaging, we are upgrading the
Mail Center to allow it to send you an alert to your cellphone. Edit your profile to add your text messaging path and cellphone number.
All mail generated by our "Contact a Live Counselor" form is written securely into our backend database.
An initial YOU'VE GOT A NEW REFERRAL REQUEST mail message is sent to you indicating that you have mail waiting
for you to answer. You will click the link on the message to www.cpclink.com/login.php When you log-in,
you will notice the Mail Center icon in the upper left. Click that link to view your messages. Your messages will be listed on the left side.
Click any message to view the contents in the center of your screen. Use the message field to construct a reply. Enter your subject and short personalized message.
After writing your message, click any INFORMATION CONTENT LINK on the right side to embed the pre-approved article(s) into your message.

4. Why do we not reply using her message in our message?
To protect the privacy of each requestee, we do not reply using her message which may contain very private, confidential information.
Instead, we reply using the MAIL CENTER APPROVED REPLIES that address 30 common questions.

5. Who answers our mail when I am away from the office for an extended period of time?
Every center will be closed from time to time. The main concern is that a request be answered typically in 24 to no more than 48 hours.
If your center is going to be closed for an extended period like a week or two weeks, then certainly that creates a concern. If you cannot answer your registered email
address from home during that absence, then log in to www.cpclink.com/login.php and click the "EDIT" button to edit your profile.
Change the field labeled ACTIVE from 1 to 0 to "deactive" your email from the systems available lists. Only listings set to 1 show up in the available emails used by the referral network.

6. How can I reduce the time it takes to answer my messages?
First, BOOKMARK as a favorite, your login address. Click Here to open that page so you can set the favorite on your local browser.
When you get a message indicating a referral click the link on the message or open your favorite link. Once there, click EMAIL. Click on the first request, read her message
select the appropriate response or write a short personal response, click send. Repeate the process for each listed request. Once finished simply close your browser.
A benchtest shows that it takes an average person about 30 seconds to click over to the login, another 10 seconds to type in their username and password, and
approximately 30 seconds per message to open it, read it and respond. So in just over a minute you can get in and out of the Mail Center. Compared to opening
OUTLOOK or OUTLOOK express, then having to hand-write every line of the reply, imagine the time you will save.

7. What happens if I lose or forget my password?
For now, CLICK HERE to send us an email. Include the CPC/PRC name and email
address used on the CPCLINK web site. Watch for a change coming soon. We are automating the password request process.

8. Why do we have to use the "preapproved" replies?
Consistency and integrity of the content are critical. When you visit a McDonalds® you expect to
get the same BigMac® whether you are in Dallas TX or New York City or Paris France. In that manner,
we expect every volunteer, regardless of your background, experience, theological or writing skills to be
consistent and correct. Because we are dealing with over 400 volunteers, it is important that
prenatal info be correct no matter who answers the mail. This protects your client, you, and the
ministry of Last Harvest who administers this referral network.

9. How can I view the "preapproved" replies?

11. How do I know the message has been sent?
The MAIL CENTER MAIL screen will indicate that the message has been sent and the
message will be removed from your message list. Additionally, it will also be removed from the admin list view.
When you finish answering your mail you will have helped us complete the cycle of her request and her reply.

12. Why is it important to check my mail every day?
When you get the email notification from the Someone Cares Referral Network, there is an innocent life hanging in the balance.
Because technology allows the person asking for help to trigger the message to you within an average 6 to 30 seconds (depending on where you are
